Basic Configuration

1. Business Profile Setup

Navigate to Business Settings

Go to Settings → Business Settings from the main menu.

Fill in Business Information

Complete all required fields:

  • Business Name: Your official business name
  • Address: Complete business address
  • Phone & Email: Primary contact information
  • Tax Numbers: GST/VAT registration numbers (if applicable)
  • Logo: Upload your business logo for invoices and receipts

Configure Currency & Timezone

Set your local currency and timezone for accurate reporting.

Important: Currency settings should be configured before adding products or making sales.

2. User Account Management

Access User Management

Navigate to User Management → Manage Users

Create User Accounts

For each team member, you'll need to provide:

  • Full Name and Contact Information
  • Username and Password
  • Phone Number (for OTP login if enabled)
  • Role Assignment (Admin, Cashier, Manager, etc.)

OTP Login Feature

Enable passwordless login using phone number and OTP for enhanced security and convenience.

How it works:
  1. User enters phone number on login page
  2. System sends 6-digit OTP via SMS
  3. User enters OTP to complete login
  4. Automatic redirect to dashboard

Your First Sale

Let's walk through processing your first sale transaction step by step.

Access POS System

Click on POS → Create Sale from the main dashboard.

Add Products to Cart

Search for products by name or scan barcode, then add to cart.

Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts like F2 to quickly search products.

Apply Discounts (Optional)

Add item-level or overall discounts if needed.

Process Payment

Select payment method (Cash, Card, etc.) and complete the transaction.

Print Receipt

Generate and print customer receipt or send via email/WhatsApp.
